Ajax Cape Town have not had the best of seasons, having claimed just eight wins from 28 matches so far. The Mother City outfit, under Roger De Sa's mentorship, have been inconsistent and are 10th on the log, which means they will not be taking part in next season's MTN8 challenge if the remaining games do not work in their favour.
Gladys, a loyal Ajax supporter, is not happy with her team's displays this season.
"This is not the Ajax of yesteryear. The team's bad performances are putting pressure on every person linked to the brand," she said.
"I do not want to put all the blame on the coach as I believe that the players should do the talking on the field, but then again Rodger is not delivering and we do have a youthful, talented squad.
"We would appreciate having Foppe de Haan in the coaching position."
It seems an unhappy Ajax faithful are beginning to turn their backs on the coach.
Looking ahead to next season, the Urban Warriors are expected to turn their ship around and bring smiles to the faces of their fans once again.
"We have the players, and we want to be contenders for the league title and possibly win it as we should have a few years ago," Gladys concluded.
