The Carling Knockout Cup is Officially over in all its might and Glory. Stellies FC were ultimately crowned champions which meant they had the chance to take on the Carling Knockout Cup All Stars last weekend. The All-Stars were comprised of players selected by you, the fans! Stellies fell just short of the Mark thanks to goals by Kaizer Chiefs duo, Mfundo Vilakazi and Ashley Du Preez. One other Kaizer Chiefs player stood out and in turn, was named Man Of The Match. Itumeleng Khune put on a stellar performance and given that in recent weeks, he had some off-field issues which saw him be suspended by his club, it goes to show his professionalism and love for the sport.
The 2024 AFCON (Africa Cup of Nations) commences on Saturday 13 January with Bafana Bafana taking the field for the first time on Tuesday 16 January.
