The Premier Soccer League transfer window slammed shut late last month without any major surprises, but Siya sources have informed this publication that it wasn’t for a lack of trying by some clubs.

News reaching Soccer Laduma is that AmaZulu FC made a late bid to sign midfielder Sammy Seabi from champions Mamelodi Sundowns.

Usuthu were keen to bolster their squad on the back of adding anchorman Ben Motshwari from Orlando Pirates as well as defender Taariq Fielies from Cape Town City in the week of the registration deadline.
