It was in February last month that Stellies confirmed that they have parted ways with the speedy winger, although there reasons therefore were not disclosed. Stellies have since parted ways with another former Chiefs player in Darrel Matsheke, seemingly for disciplinary issues.
Now, the 26-year-old recently resurfaced at a new club in the DStv Premiership.
According to Siya sources in Gauteng, Sekgota has been spending the last few days training with Moroka Swallows, where he is hoping to impress the Dube Birds’ hierarchy.
The source further indicated that Sekgota has not officially put pen to paper with Swallows just yet but there are possibilities of a potential deal.
Sekgota is no stranger to Swallows having spent the 2020/21 season at the club. He made 26 appearances in all competitions before joining Kaizer Chiefs where he spent two seasons.
