As reported by the Siya crew, indications are that Mosimane will have a second swing at the Saudi Pro League, where he is understood to have taken up the daunting task of rescuing Abha Club from the relegation scrap.

According to Saudi publication Arriyadiyah, Mosimane is alleged to have agreed terms with the club and was expected in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, 20 January, though the coach is yet to arrive in the country where he took charge of Al Ahli Jeddah.

According to the publication, the 59-year-old’s arrival has been delayed due to flight conditions, though the latest is that he is expected to land in Saudi this week, where he will meet with the club's hierarchy, before assuming his duties.

“South African coach Pitso Mosimane has been delayed due to flight conditions and is expected to arrive in the next two days,” the publication said.

Mosimane has been without a club since parting ways with Al Wahda in the UAE and was strongly linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs. His name was also suggested for the Nigerian national team after the Super Eagles' poor start in their Fifa World Cup qualifying campaign.

The Siya crew reached out to Mosimane's camp for comment; however, there was no response at the time of publish.
