A big decision is pending on Mamelodi Sundowns striker Thabang Sibanyoni as the PSL has entered the last quarter of fixtures for most clubs both in the DStv Premiership and Motsepe Foundation Championship respectively.
With Nedbank Cup quarter-finalists University of Pretoria continuing with the fight in their promotion chase, Sibanyoni remains an integral part of the team with his contribution and the goals he has been scoring.

The 28-year-old has netted seven goals in the league and another one in the Nedbank Cup.
As he is on loan at Tuks from Sundowns, the forward will be expecting to hear from the defending champions about his future.
Sibanyoni came through Downs’ reserve team and was promoted to the senior side in 2019.
He previously had loan spells with JDR Stars, Sekhukhune United and SuperSport United respectively, as breaking into the star-studded Downs’ first team has proved to be tough for him over the years.

With his contract with the Brazilians set to expire in June, there have been concerns about his future although the club does have an option to extend the deal should they opt to do so.
“Thabang Sibanyoni’s focus is on doing well for Tuks to help the team to gain promotion to the big league. So far, he has done well and he has been scoring goals. It’s true that his contract is nearing an end but Sundowns will make a decision on his future, and that’s not something he is focused on at the moment,” confirmed the source.
