The Siya crew has been reliably informed that veteran TS Galaxy defender, Vuyo Mere is currently being groomed for a role within the club.
It’s unclear at this stage if the 40-year-old will bring an end to his playing career at the end of the season, but plans are being made for the player to start working within the club.
The Siya crew has not been given details into what role he will occupy once he stops playing, but indications are that he could work closely with the media team, having recently attended the Nedbank Cup draw as an observer.
