Jose Riveiro says he is "extremely proud" to be coach of Orlando Pirates after guiding the team to a third trophy on Saturday night.
The Buccaneers claimed the MTN8 title for the second successive year after defeating Mamelodi Sundowns on penalties.
The Spaniard did not want to analyze anything about the game and just expressed how proud he is of the team.

"Just happiness, nothing else, I don't think it's a moment to analyze the game. We went through a difficult period recently, so the way that these guys today fought for the trophy, for the club, for the Pirates family, for our fans," Riveiro said on SuperSport TV."We are here to try to inspire them, to give them hope, today they could see that if you fight, if you are together until the end you know even though we went through difficult moments in the game.
"Because they (Sundowns) are good, it's a good team but we managed to stay together to really fight and get the results. So I'm extremely proud to be an Orlando Pirates coach and yeah, what else?" he asked.
The Spaniard also added that he always felt he had support everywhere he went.
"It means a lot, since I arrived here, there was a narrative about myself, the fans and these type of things but the truth of the matter is that I always feel the support everywhere I go, so they are sometimes critic that's why they are fans, they are fanatic," he said.
"They want to see their team playing well and winning games. We try everyday to do our best. Like I said before, for our people it's important to get this feeling of happiness, to feel that you can identify yourself with us, because we fight and everybody can do it," he added.
