The former SuperSport United man was impressed with the reception and says he hopes to feature in more derbies.

"It's very amazing, I mean as you can see the crowd," Maswanganyi told SuperSport after the game.

"I was a bit nervous when we started but as soon as you get used to the game, you enjoy the game and it's very fun playing in a stadium like this and I wanna play more in a stadium full like this," he added.

The Buccaneers midfielder says it's important for the team maintain their winning run when they return from the international break.

"I think we wanted to start very well, we haven't started well. As you have seen we haven't won in terms of coming to four games not even winning a game, we managed to win a game during the week and now we win the second game against Kaizer Chiefs in a derby.

"It's very important for us to keep winning, especially to be consistent in our performance," he said.
