CAF Champions League winner Siyanda Zwane has explained why he is confident Mamelodi Sundowns will progress to the final of the continental club competition, despite a narrow defeat in the first leg semi-final against Esperance.

Rulani Mokwena's men were beaten 1-0 by the Tunisian giants in Tunis, as Esperance kept their 10th clean sheet in this edition of the Champions League. The North Africans have been solid at the back through the competition and are not going to lie down and play dead against the DSTV Premiership champions in the second leg.

Zwane, however, is not too worried. He is so confident that Sundowns will progress to the final of the competition.

"I know that this is going sound strange to you; I have no fear at all. I have zero doubt that Sundowns will go to the final. Sundowns is a a different animal when they are playing at home and you will see it. I Sundowns winning 2-0. I see them keeping a clean sheet in that match. I know how motivated the boys are when they are playing at home and I know how much going to the final means for the entire team and also the president of the club," Zwane said to the Siya crew.

"They know what's at stake. It's not going to be easy because we are playing against a good team. They are organised tactically They've got good players at their disposal, but having said all of that, I know that the boys will do the job at home. I have no fear whatsoever. They will come up tops. I know the mentality at Sundowns and I know how much the Champions League means to the club."
