The 29-year-old attacker has put pen-to-paper on a deal with his former side Baroka FC.
Motupa burst onto the scene with Bakgaga back in 2013, where he finished as the National First Division's top goal scorer before being snapped up by Orlando Pirates in 2015.
He was at several clubs in Bidvest Wits, Chippa United and Sundowns, between his two stints but he has returned to his former club.
“Baroka football club can confirm the signing of Gift Motupa. Motupa is a former Mamelodi Sundowns player who also played for Baroka football club before and he is making his return to the club where it all started,” they said in a statement.
Baroka find themselves in contention for possible promotion to the DStv Premiership and currently find themselves in fourth place on the log standings, just three points behind log leaders the University of Pretoria.
