For years, young black coaches have been calling for opportunities to work in the topflight of South African football, but it's important that they grab the chance or else we will keep seeing the same old names rotating jobs in the PSL.
The likes of Arthur Zwane, Mabhuti Khenyeza, Vusumuzi Vilakazi and Musa Nyatama are some of the coaches who have been given opportunities to show what they can do in the topflight, but I feel that they are not doing enough at this stage to raise their hands and show their true quality as coaches.
Zwane was given an opportunity at Kaizer Chiefs as head coach and did not make the most of it and now he has disappeared at the club and it's believed he does not have a specified role. Things would have been a whole lot different had he taken the opportunity, but now it could prove to be difficult to get a head coaching position at another club in the topflight.
