Marumo Gallants 1-0 JDR Stars

Marumo Gallants lost their fourth game in five matches after a narrow 1-0 defeat to JDR Stars on Sunday afternoon at Lucas Moripe Stadium.

The game almost ended goalless but the Hammerboys got the winner in added time.

The maximum points moved JDR up to sixth on the table and Bahlabane Ba Ntwa remained at the bottom of the log.

Pretoria Callies 0-2 Maritzburg United

Maritzburg United won two games on the bounce after beating Pretoria Callies 2-0 on Sunday afternoon.

The win took the Team of Choice up to seventh on the table and the Romans fell down to 11th.

Black Leopards 0-0 Baroka

Baroka missed the chance to move up to third on the log after a goalless draw against Black Leopards on Sunday afternoon at Thohoyandou Stadium.

Bakgaga had to settle for fourth spot on the table, two points behind third-placed Orbit College and Lidoda Duvha were left lying tenth.

Saturday, 06 April

Magesi 2-0 Orbit College

Magesi maintained their top spot on the log after a 2-0 win over Orbit College on Saturday afternoon at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Wonderboy Makhubu gave Dikwena an early lead and Motsie Matima secured the maximum points with the second goal 20 minutes before time.

Magesi topped the standings by a single point and Orbit dropped down to third, eight points off the top.

Hungry Lions 2-1 NB La Masia

Hungry Lions overcame their back-to-back losses after edging NB La Masia 2-1 on Saturday afternoon at Mxolisi Dicky Jacobs Stadium.

Raymond Daniels got the opener for Lions within the first 11 minutes and La Masia levelled matters early in the second stanza.

However, Outopie Modise snatched the winner foe Ditau Dia Rora on the hour-mark.

Lions moved up to fifth on the log and La Masia dropped down to 12th.

Milford 3-0 Upington City

Milford ended their four-game losing streak after drubbing Upington City 3-0 on Saturday afternoon at Princess Magogo Stadium.

Following a goalless first stanza, Mvelo Zikakayo eventually broke the deadlock just from the break and Menzi Chili doubled their lead with 19 minutes remaining.

The Stallions went 3-0 up deep in stoppages after an own goal by Upington.

The kept Milford just out of the relegation zone by goal difference, up to 14th and Upington slipped down to ninth.

Platinum City Rovers 1-0 Venda Football Academy

Platinum City Rovers revived their chances of overcoming relegation after a narrow 1-0 victory over Venda Football Academy on Saturday afternoon at Isak Steyl Stadium.

After the first stanza ended without goals, City Rovers eventually found the winner in the last five minutes from the penalty spot.

Platinum remained second-from-bottom, equal on points with 14th-placed Milford.

Friday, 05 April

Casric Stars 0-1 University of Pretoria

University of Pretoria won their third league game in a row after edging Casric Stars 1-0 on Friday afternoon at Solomon Mahlangu Stadium.

After a goalless first stanza, with the game seemingly headed for a draw, AmaTuks were awarded a penalty in the last minute that was converted by Samuel Julies.

The Tshwane side remained a point behind leaders Magesi in second spot on the table while Casric dropped down to eighth.
