Kaizer Chiefs could have made a list of youngsters they are about to send out on loan, despite Cavin Johnson recently noting that he would like to bring these players into the first team.

Johnson has been playing young players in his first team already, but the Siya crew has been informed that a few may not have made the cut for the second half of the campaign.

As difficult as it may be for certain players, there will be sense in youngsters gaining more game time away on loan.

Siya sources close to the club have indicated that those players may be Samkelo Zwane, Wandile Duba, Happy Mashiane, Sabelo Radebe and Aden McCarthy, to mention but a few.

The sources added that the technical team may feel that the chances of these youngsters playing are slim for the rest of the season, so it is hoped they could be loaned out during the January Transfer Window.

"The technical team together with management are looking at the young players who they want to loan out so that they can gain experience and game time. When they come back they can be able to help the team," said the Siya source.

"It's no use keeping them at the team while they are not playing. It's quite a number of them but the list will be finalised soon. If possible some could leave in January while others at the end of the season as it will also depend on clubs interested in them," the source said.

A second Siya source added that there are indeed other youngsters whom the technical team feels can be given a chance. It is these listed for loan that will open up space for those who are needed right now.

"It's a catch-22 situation for the club as there are other youngsters whom the technical team has belief and trust in, and those ones they want to give them the chance. At the same time there are other youngsters who they want to loan out. It's not a finalised move yet but things could happen any time for some of them," the second Siya source stated.

Soccer Laduma contacted Chiefs for comment but no response was received while preparing this story.
