Inter Milan have been crowned Serie A champions for the 2023/2024 season after defeating fierce rivals AC Milan on Monday night.

Inter broke the deadlock on 18 minutes after Francesco Acerbi get on the end of Benjamin Pavard's flick-on and nodded home from close range.

Simone Inzaghi's got the second goal shortly after the halftime break, with Marcus Thuram finding the back of the net with a neat finish, which ultimately sealed the win and the title.

Inter have now also bagged their 20th Italian top-flight league title, moving one ahead of their city rivals AC Milan.

Inzaghi also gets his first league title with Inter to go along with his two Coppa Italia titles and three Supercoppa Italiana crowns.

To rub salt into the wounds of their city rivals, Inter have completed the league double over Milan this season.
