The Los Blancos midfielder claimed the individual accolade last Monday after being voted for as the best player under the age of 21 in the world by ex-Ballon d'Or winners.
Their first preference received three points, the second two points and the third one, with Messi's picks having since been made public, as per Goal.
The 36-year-old Inter Miami forward, who claimed the main prize at the ceremony in Paris, chose Bayern Munich's Jamal Musiala as his first choice and Barcelona's Pedri in second.
Messi starred alongside the Spain international during the latter stages of his time at Camp Nou after the then-teenager's arrival from Las Palmas in 2019.
Bellingham was selected as Messi's third-best young footballer for the 2022/23 campaign, but it was still the England man who beat his rivals to the award.
The 20-year-old has enjoyed a remarkable rise since leaving Birmingham City for Borussia Dortmund in 2020 and is currently considered among the best midfielders in world football.
