At this stage, it seems a mere formality that the Bondy native will be a Los Blancos player when the 2024/25 campaign comes around.

His contract at Paris Saint-Germain expires at the end of the current campaign, and with his manager Luis Enrique having used him sparingly in Ligue 1 this year, the French giants seem to have become resigned to losing their talisman.

In Madrid, however, Real are believed to be excited about the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner's pending arrival, and he will join a star-studded attack that includes the likes of Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo Goes, Jude Bellingham and Brahim Diaz.

Mbappe's inclusion in what is an already stacked front line may perhaps present a selection headache for manager Carlo Ancelotti, especially with the Frenchman's reported preference of playing off the left, a position Vinicius currently occupies at the Santiago Bernabeu with great prominence.

However, according to Diario AS, the 25-year-old's integration into Real's starting XI is not expected to be an issue as he is said to want to play in the traditional striking position as a No. 9.

The same report claims that the France skipper believes playing alongside players like the aforementioned superstars will increase his chances of scoring a plethora of goals, consequently increasing his odds of attaining the illustrious Golden Ball.
