Manager Erik ten Hag has been linked with a shock move to one of Europe's biggest team as his future with Manchester United remains unclear.
It has been a disappointing season for Ten Hag and United, whose only hope of joy is the FA Cup final against cross-town rivals Manchester City.
Despite the despite rough season, reports in Germany claim that Ten Hag has emerged as a target to replace Thomas Tuchel next season.

Bayern were targeting former Red Devils interim coach Ralf Rangnick, but that has since fallen through with the coach opting to stay with the Austrian national side.
Sport BILD journalist Christian Falk has reported that Ten Hag is on Bayern's four-man shortlist as potential coaches for next season.
The list also includes former Real Madrid coach Julen Lopetegui and Benfica's Roger Schmidt while Roberto de Zerbi is reportedly keen on staying at Brighton and Hove Albion.
Ten Hag is no stranger to Bayern, having coach the Bayern B team when Pep Guardiola was in charge of the club.
However, it remains to be seen if Ten Hag will leave Old Trafford as his recent comments about planning for next season.
"Initial meetings are good," Ten Hag told Sky Sports.
"Now we have to take things quickly because the summer is coming. It's a very important period where you come into a window.
"We want to make the next step into our squad and make plans to create an environment that avoids this year's problems in injuries."
