Paris Saint-Germain defender Sergio Ramos says he enjoys playing alongside Lionel Messi of 15 years after 'suffering' in LaLiga.
Messi and Ramos would often go head-to-head in El Clasico and they had their fair share of heated exchanges during their time in the Spanish top-flight.
Messi: I Will Live In Barcelona Again
Both Ramos and Messi moved to PSG in 2020 after leaving Real Madrid and FC Barcelona respectively, with many unsure if the pair would get along after the big rivalry in Spain.
Ramos has now expressed his admiration for the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner, who he claims is the best of all time.
"There was suffering for several years playing against Messi," Ramos told PSG TV.
"I am now enjoying him. He is the best player football has ever produced."
After a somewhat disappointing first season in the French capital, Messi has been impressive for the Ligue 1 champions this season after registering 14 goals and 14 assists across all competitions.
Ramos, meanwhile, has also earned regular minutes under Christophe Galtier after making 12 league appearances last term compared to the 19 matches already racked up this campaign.
