Outgoing Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez is reportedly willing to make a U-turn on his decision to leave the club at the end of the season, but only if two conditions are met.

At the beginning of the year, following a heavy 5-3 home defeat to Villarreal in the league, the Spaniard announced that he would be leaving his managerial role with the Blaugrana at the end of the ongoing campaign.

Club president Joan Laporta and sporting director Deco, however, are believed to want the former midfielder to continue the coaching responsibilities at the club as they feel he can lead Barca to great accomplishments.

It is now said that Xavi would be willing to reconsider his position with reports last month suggesting that triumphs in either LALIGA or the UEFA Champions League would help convince the 44-year-old to stay on.

According to Mundo Deportivo, while winning either of or both those competitions would go a long way in persuading Xavi to stay at the Camp Nou, the defining factor would be the Catalan giants' ability to sign marquee players in the transfer market.

The same report suggests that the Terrassa native does not want an off-season window like last season's, when they were unable to acquire top talent due to their financial constraints.

The Barca boss is said to want the club to sign an adequate replacement for Sergio Busquets, whom he sees as being either Martin Zubimendi or Joshua Kimmich.

The 2022/23 LALIGA-winning manager also wants assurances from the club that they will sign a creative midfielder, such as Bernardo Silva.

It is further claimed that while Xavi appreciates that many La Masia players have stepped up this season, he wants more experience and quality in his side.
