Liverpool began their UEFA Europa League campaign with a 3-1 victory over LASK on Thursday evening.

Reds coach Jurgen Klopp made a number of changes from the side that defeat Wolverhampton Wanderers, as Virgil van Dijk returned while new signing Ryan Gravenberch got his first start.
The home side took the lead on 14 minutes when Horvath's corner found an unmarked Florian Flecker on the edge of the box and the midfielder controlled well before firing into the back of the net.
Klopp's charges went close to getting back on level terms after the 20- minute mark when Harvey Elliot did well to pick out Darwin Nunez, who sent his header over the crossbar.
LASK goalkeeper Tobias Lawal kept his side ahead going into the halftime break, after producing a fine save to keep out Nunez's effort from point-blank range after some good work by Van Dijk.
Ten minutes into the second half, the away side were awarded a penalty for Phillipp Ziereis' foul on Luis Diaz, which allowed Nunez to step up and fire home from 12 yards out.
Liverpool completed the turnaround in the 63rd minute when Diaz got his name on the score-sheet after getting on the end of Gravenberch's low cross before flicking the ball beyond Lawal.
Second-half substitute Mohamed Salah rounded of the scoring for the Premier League giants with minutes play after being set up Nunez as the Reds start their campaign on a winning note.
