It seems that the upcoming departure of Jurgen Klopp could offset a domino effect of exits as many Liverpool players, including Alexander-Arnold, nearing the final year of their contracts in England.
The Three Lions international has been an integral part of the German’s side since he broke into the first team in 2017, but with the 25-year-old believed not to currently be in negotiations over a new deal at Anfield, the situation has put many top sides on high alert.
According to Relevo, Real Madrid are at the forefront of that list as they continue to monitor the circumstances of various elite stars who are running down their existing deals.
In recent years, the record European champions have found success in this manner, having acquired players such as Thibaut Courtois and Eduardo Camavinga as free agents.
Furthermore, Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies is also expected to also become a Madridista when his deal in Germany runs out, with Liverpool's Alexander-Arnold believed now to be the club's latest target.
The same report claims that Real acknowledge that Dani Carvajal is approaching the end of his peak years and want to find an adequate successor for the Spaniard.
