FAR Rabat head coach Nasreddine Nabi has responded to his team's latest slip-up in their title charge towards the Botola Pro championship, with Josef Zinnbauer's unbeaten Raja Casablanca breathing down their necks.

The reigning champions’ 17-match unbeaten run in the league came to an end this weekend, when they suffered a 2-1 loss to Hassania d'Agadir.

The result leaves the log leaders just four points ahead of Raja, who have a game in hand.

Zinnbauer’s charges are unbeaten in the league with four matches to play, hot on the heels of Nabi's men, but following his team's shock loss, the Tunisian tactician, who is still linked with the Kaizer Chiefs job in South Africa, called for calm among the club's fanbase.

"I cannot talk about the tactical approach because there is nothing worth talking about technically during the Hassania Agadir match, after the red card that the referee showed in the face of our player Hatem Al-Sawabi in the 28th minute," the 58-year-old said after the match, as per Le360.

"I do not know if the red card is valid or not. However, when your team plays with 10 players, it is very difficult for you to have room for tactical imagination, to turn the tide of the match against an opponent who defended with all ferocity, without any attempt to extract the three points in the confrontation.

"I would like to deliver a message to the fans of the Royal Army. We are in the race to win the championship shield.

"Such incidents during the competition for the title are very normal, and we were prepared for this scenario. There is no room for us to enter into a negative spiral.

"We are calm and I have confidence in our players, no matter what the results of the other teams are, we will be in the lead.

"We have three matches left and we will keep fighting to win them all, and we will continue despite the injustice, disease and enemies.”
