Yadah FC's head coach has claimed that Khama Billiat will start scoring for his new team soon.

Khama Billiat's time at his new club Yadah is not going according to plan, with their latest defeat to Bulawayo Chiefs leaving them winless since his arrival.

The attacker's new side suffered a major setback in their aspiration to stay in the Zimbabwean Premier Soccer League next season as they suffered a 3-1 loss to Chiefs.

Goals from Never Rauzhi, Leroy Ndlovu and Benjamin Addotey ensured that Yadah remain winless since Billiat arrived at the club, making it four successive games without a win since the forward joined as a free agent after leaving Kaizer Chiefs.

There is a lot of attention on the 33-year-old after he enjoyed a successful 13-year stint in the DStv Premiership, but having struggled with injuries for much of his final campaign at Naturena, the Harare native has seemingly struggled to find his feet with his new club.

Yadah boss Thomas Ruzive is, however, confident that Billiat will come good for his new team in the near future.

"The boys started very slowly and conceded in blunders," Ruzive said, as per The Herald.

"We played very well but our defence was very jittery. We created a lot of chances, but we failed to utilise those chances, and if you miss a lot of chances, you are bound to be punished.

"We are going to work especially on our defence so that we don't concede silly goals. I think he (Billiat) is trying to adjust to the local football scene so he will adjust and he will score."
