Former player and captain of Egypt's women's national team Fayza Haider has reserved some glowing praise for the 59-year-old, who recently guided Abha Club out of the relegation zone in the Saudi Pro League.
A 2-1 win over Al Fateh this past weekend has taken the side to 15th on the table, the club's highest league position since Mosimane's appointment on a short-term deal in January.
"In fact, I am very impressed with the footballing mind that Pitso Mosimane possesses," Haider said on Youth and Sports Radio, according to Al Masry Al Youm.
"Everyone talks about the modest capabilities of African coaches, but Pitso completely changed this image.
"Pitso Mosimane is a very distinguished coach and has a very innovative football mind.
"He relies on different and modern playing methods, and this is the secret of his success and distinction.
"Last season, he succeeded in moving up the Al Ahli Saudi FC.
"Pitso Mosimane is a very loyal coach who loves his work, and his success experience with Al Ahly Club, and before it, Sundowns of South Africa, contributed greatly to his having a strong CV."
