African champions Al Ahly have received a big boost ahead of Monday's Cairo Derby against rivals Zamalek.

The Red Devils have been hit by injuries in recent weeks, which has affected how he team has performed recently.

However, KingFut have reported that South Africa international Percy Tau,  Ali Maaloul, and Mohamed Hany have been made available for Monday's clash.

Hany was rested for the win over ZED FC on Thursday, but Tau and Maaloul have been sideline with fatigue.

The trio are now expected to return to Marcel Koller's line-up on Monday evening, as the team currently sit in ninth position, but have six games in hand.

Koller spoke about how injuries and fatigue have affected his squad over the busy fixture schedule.

"We're struggling with a significant number of injuries to key players due to the relentless schedule," Koller explained, as per Ahram Online.

"Our national team players haven't had a proper rest in three weeks, and it's taking its toll on the squad."

"Our players are human not machines. The pressure leads to mental and physical fatigue, but I'm proud of their performance. They pushed themselves despite their exhaustion, and everyone is giving their all," he continued.
