What's the story?

After scoring the winner in Chiefs' 1-0 win over Lamontville Golden Arrows in the DStv Premiership on Tuesday evening, youngster Wandile Duba seems to still be buzzing over his spectacular goal.

Duba was recorded by goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma, happily chilling on his phone in the club's jacuzzi, clearly brimming with confidence ahead of Saturday's Soweto Derby.

Let's take a closer look...

Wandile Duba still on Cloud 9 after first goal

19-year-old striker Wandile Duba opened his Kaizer Chiefs account in truly remarkable fashion in Chiefs' narrow win over the struggling Golden Arrows.

Duba's 11th-minute curling effort was Chiefs' first goal of 2024, which resulted in their first win of the year. Unsurprisingly, the young baller is full of confidence!

Goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma shared a video of Duba looking as relaxed as ever in a jacuzzi at the Kaizer Chiefs Village, smiling as he was scrolling through his phone wearing his training gear.

Bvuma captioned the video: "Nice life problems," with the youngster cutting a confident figure and showing minimal signs of stress going into Chiefs' biggest game of the season, the Soweto Derby on Saturday.

Take a look at the ultra-relaxed Duba:

Although Duba's self-confidence might rub some fans the wrong way, but it's certainly refreshing to see a youngster being sure of himself, especially going into the high-pressure Soweto Derby.

In his post-match interview with SuperSport TV's Phumlani Msibi, Duba said he was inspired by Manchester City baller Phil Foden's first goal in the Manchester Derby on Sunday and also sent out a warning to the Buccaneers for this weekend:

"Tell them to expect me, I'm coming!"
