The story
AC Milan proudly introduces the exclusive ACM x RL10 capsule collection, crafted in collaboration with their star player Rafael Leão.
Renowned for his exceptional skills on the field and his creativity of it, Leão epitomises the new wave of stylish footballers, who are eager to leave an indelible mark on football culture as a whole.
With his blend of strength, agility, speed, and charisma, Leão captivates the Rossoneri supporters worldwide with his performances while donning the iconic number 10 jersey.
As pointed out by a press release on Milan's website, the collection's slogan, "Every day is a new wave, every day is a day of surfing," is a nod to Leão celebration and also draws inspiration from the world of surfing, ocean waves, family, and the culture of streetwear fashion.
Featuring intricate details inspired by ocean waves and nods to Leão's goal celebrations, including the phrase "We go" and the surfer emoji, the collection offers fans an immersive experience into both the realm of AC Milan and Leão's life beyond the pitch.
Through its vibrant design, drawing from the infectious positivity of the Portuguese footballer, the collection reflects the forward-thinking ethos of the modern AC Milan.
Speaking to AC Milan's media team; Rafael Leão shared what this collaboration means to him: "AC Milan is like a second family to me, where I have had the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally. In this environment, I have been able to develop many of my passions outside the field, from music to fashion.
"The ACM x RL10 line is another milestone in my growth, it speaks to the fans about me and represents me 100%. My goal is to tell my story and leave a mark on all the boys and girls who follow me, reminding them to always fight for their dreams," says the eccentric Portuguese star.
The collection has a limited range of garments but looks like it was made for the European summer, with eye-catching colours and a laid-back, surfer aesthetic, perfectly capturing Leão's vibe.
The capsule features an array of graphic tees in black and white with red and teal details, as well as a hood and an American Football-inspired jersey inscribed with "RAFA 10" on the front.
