The clip showed Tinkler displaying his elite technique, something he hasn't lost despite retiring in 2007 at the now defunct Bidvest Wits.

Let's take a closer look at Tinkler's supreme tech...

Tinkler shows why class is permanent

The term "Form is temporary, class is permanent," is a phrase that's been used extensively in a sporting context and it essentially means that an athlete's current performances or form can change soon and isn't always long lasting.

But at the same time, the natural ability, skill, and other key factors are permanent and ever lasting.

That's why you see the likes of David Beckham slotting freekicks with ease, a decade after he retired as well as Zinedine Zidane and Paul Schools among others still being able accurately pass a ball from long distance, or control the ball as well as they did during their playing days.

Professional footballers might lose a lot attributes over the course of their careers and of course after they hang it up, but the technique never wanes.

Tinkler showed that as a baller, even if it's almost two decades since you've retired, you never lose the technique. Here's a look at the Cape Town City boss finding the target from distance with absolute ease:
