Dean Furman, who represented South Africa at three Africa Cup of Nations tournaments, was tasked with ranking his top five Bafana kits of all time.
Furman ranked everyone's favourite Bafana 90's jersey as number one, with three Away tops featuring in his top five list.

Furman's top 5 Bafana kits
Having made 55 caps for South Africa, making his debut in 2012 under Gordon Igesund, ex-SuperSport United midfielder Dean Furman was tasked by the English Professional Footballers Association (PFA) social media team to rank five Bafana kits.
The trick for Furman was that he could only choose from the five options that were presented to him. Here's a list of the kits the 35-year-old had to choose from:
- The 1996 Kappa Home kit (worn at the '96 AFCON)
- The 1999 adidas Home kit
- The 2002 adidas Away kit
- The 2010 adidas Away kit
- The 2015 Nike Home kit

What is Furman up to these days?
After enjoying a career in England's lower division clubs; Oldham Athletic, Bradford, Carlisle United and Doncaster among others, Furman is still involved with English football.
He currently works as a Player Services Executive at the English PFA, working alongside a team of former players, offering independent advice and guidance to current professional footballers and former players on all aspects of their playing career and life after football.
Furman is also a financial adviser at Gameplan Financial. He helps clients finance their mortgages and other bespoke financial solutions.
