AmaZulu's Back To School drive
As the second half of the DStv Premiership edges closer, AmaZulu took advantage of the time available to them by donating some school essentials.
AmaZulu were joined by the Hollywood Foundation in Gamalakhe, Port Shepstone to hand over school uniforms and other school supplies like stationary, that will assist the learners of Othandweni Cerebral Palsy Day Care Centre for this academic year.
Usuthu stars Victor Letsoalo, Sphephelo Majola, George Maluleka and Maskandi artist Senzo Ntencane Zondi were on hand to help out with the donations, sign songs, with the players giving the school a signed AmaZulu jersey from the first team squad.
"We came bearing gifts, it's a lot of goodies. Stationary, utensils for the kids to use. We just wanted to show support for with the Hollywood Foundation, to bring all these things so the kids have it easier and the teachers, to make sure that the learners are able to get more information," says Mido.
"It's a Back To School campaign, so we're trying to make sure that children are going to school and also trying to encourage parents to bring their kids to school. I'm so happy for this initiative, thank you to the Hollywood Foundation," added Maluleka.
