Bidvest Wits right-back, Zitha Macheke, shared his football story with SLTV in this insightful exclusive.

From an early age, his football influence was his father, as he recalls memories of going to the field in Meadowlands to watch and to play the beautiful game.

As he was introduced to the game at the age of seven, and his career only really took off after high school when he was scouted by Kaizer Chiefs development head coach, Arthur Zwane.
