Following this weekend’s 1-0 win over Maritzburg United at the FNB Stadium, the fans had their say about what they think about Ernst Middendorp since he was appointed at the helm of the team.

“You see, Middendorp and Steve Komphela, it is still the same I don’t see a difference, it is up and down, but slowly but surely we are getting there, you know we didn’t win anything for three years. We need a win, we need a Nedbank, we are hoping we can beat Cape Town City,” the fans had their say.

Chiefs are currently in seventh place on the Absa Premiership league standings while having booked their spot in the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup competition.

However, the fans are growing frustrated, as Amakhosi are yet to win a trophy in over three years.
