SLTV: Mokoena Talks Coronavirus & The Olympics
As the national lockdown due to the Corona Virus edges closer, how will football players train and keep fit from home?
Soccer Laduma caught up with SuperSport United and South Africa U23 midfielder, Teboho Mokoena, where he chatted about training at home and the postponed Tokyo Olympic Games.
Despite keeping his regular quarantine routine with close friend and teammate, Aubrey Modiba, the 23-year-old shared what type lockdown program he and the rest of the squad had received.
In a rally of encouragement to all South Africans to keep your hands clean, the talented midfielder also said…
- "Since we’re going to train at home, it’s going to be more conditioning…"
- "I think it was a wise decision to postpone it..."
- "I’m going to be with girlfriend and we are going to write down our program for 21 days…"
- "Let’s fight it together and wash our hands…"
Should overaged South African U23 players be allowed to play in next year’s Tokyo Olympic Games?
