Pitso On Who Should Have Scored Against Barcelona

Pitso Mosimane Wanted More Goals For Sundowns Against Barcelona

Mamelodi Sundowns head coach, Pitso Mosimane, has mentioned three stars he feels should have scored against FC Barcelona on Wednesday.

Downs went down 3-1 to the LaLiga champions in the Nelson Mandela Centenary Cup played at FNB Stadium on Wednesday evening.

While Mosimane has been full of praise for his charges for their showing against their European opponents, the coach feels that the score could have been different had all the goal scoring opportunities that fell for his players were used well.

Mosimane feels that Khama Billiat, Tebogo Langerman and Percy Tau should have all scored against Barcelona.

“Also, had we used our opportunities, I think Khama (Billiat) should have used his opportunity. (Tebogo) Langerman, he went and faced the goalkeeper. He decided to put it across. But in Maritzburg he cracked it from far. And obviously, Percy (Tau) went one on one with the goalkeeper, that’s where the goal is,” Mosimane told the media after the game.
