SLTV Nedbank Cup Preview: ‘I Don't Get Board Of Winning’

Mamelodi Sundowns head coach, Pitso Mosimane, was in high spirits as his side are set to play in their 5th Pretoria derby of the season against SuperSport United at Loftus on February 8th.

Starting the young players is common abroad, however, ‘Jingles’ keenly explained why South Africa’s football culture wouldn’t allow that.

The former Bafana Bafana mentor gave insight on the people who inspire him to continue chasing trophies and why experience in the team is difficult to find and keep.

With Denis Onyango being hardly challenged for the number one spot, could a change soon happen in that department for Downs?

During the pre-match press conference, Pitso also said:

  • “I never have an easy one…”
  • “I never have that luck…”
  • “I don’t have the mandate from the board…”
  • “You can’t take it lightly…”
  • “I don’t know what happens to this team…”

Do you think Mamelodi Sundowns have enough to win every competition this season?
