Mamelodi Sundowns head coach, Pitso Mosimane will once again travel to Morocco this week to complete his CAF Pro License.

The Brazilians’ head coach has revealed that he is just three more modules away from completing the course, although pointed out that 12 months is a long time compared to the duration it takes to maintain a license in Europe.

“I have to complete this thing you know, the Pro License, for me I know it as a 12 month programme, but I see some guys get it in three weeks, four months, but I’m on a flight every day to Morocco and we sit there,” Mosimane told the media on Saturday evening.

Benni McCarthy recently completed his UEFA Pro License, with his qualification making him eligible to coach any team in Europe’s top-flight. Should Mosimane complete his CAF Pro License, the head coach will also have the qualifications to take his coaching career to any league abroad.

“I think I went to the wrong course, to the wrong side, maybe when you go to Europe, it’s three weeks, and you got it.

“I think I have three more modules but I have missed one or two, so hopefully during the FIFA calendar, I’m going to try and beg with them that I must remain there because the week we play Wydad, I am going to try and beg them if I can stay longer.

“When you are invited to the course because you don’t apply, you have to show respect and you’ve got to complete, but it doesn’t make you a better coach, but it equips you a lot and then you can also say, can I apply in Europe? Then people will say, who are you? And (you will) say - that’s my CV, and by the way, we are taught by FIFA French tutors,” he added.
