SLTV Soweto Derby Special: 'We Must Create A Crime-Free Climate'
Soweto Derby excitement aside, Orlando Pirates and PSL chairman, Irvin Khoza, sent out a strong human message to the football fraternity and society at large.
Following up on the Premier Soccer League’s partnership with the South African Police Service, Khoza shared his thoughts on gender-based violence and teaching important human values through the game of football.
‘Iron Duke’ also gave insight on a recent trip and encouraged all South Africans to find their humanity and treat people and live with morality and ethics.
Dr. Khoza during the press conference also said…
- “We lost two members of the old NPSL…”
- “A very astute, ethical leader of the committee…”
- “We’ve had very interesting events this week…”
- “A very important partnership that was started in 2018…”
- “We must start with the Diski Challenge…”
Do you think that the partnership between the PSL and SAPS will help deal with gender-based violence?
