SLTV: Flashback Friday: Remember What Casillas Said About Zidane
Soccer Laduma TV takes a look at what Iker Casillas previously said about Zinedine Zidane.
Zidane made his return to Real Madrid this year in March and in the new season will be looking to take the Galacticos back to both domestic and UEFA Champions League glory.
In April this year, former Madrid shot-stopper, Casillas, praised Zidane for his work as a head coach, this after the French head coach already won nine major trophies as the manager of the club.

“Making the jump from player to a manager isn’t easy, it’s not easy at all when you’ve been the best, one of the best of all time, something we’ve all seen out on the pitch, making that move seems like it should be easy. We’ve seen so many cases in which it hasn’t worked out that way,” the Spaniard explained.
“Zidane always seems to be in control of the situation, he’s also a young coach who’s in touch with his players, he’s happy for them to be the stars. When I see him at a press conference, he reminds me of Vicente del Bosque. Vicente was never the kind of coach who wanted the spotlight,” he added.
