SLTV: Hunt: We Don’t Want A Free Weekend
Gavin Hunt has pointed out the importance of advancing in the Nedbank Cup competition.
Bidvest Wits will host Chippa United in the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup, all this while they look to fight their way back to the top of the Absa Premiership log.

Speaking to the media, Hunt explained that his side is hungry to be playing every week and knows that Chippa will come with an agenda of their own.
“It’s Wednesday today (yesterday), not really doing much and tomorrow a little bit of preparation, Friday and Saturday we play. It’s like that, I think it’s like that all over the world, a lot of players away; it’s hard to work on things. We had a good training session last week with the rest of the players. But you can’t really do anything tactically or working on the shape of the team.
"I am expecting a tough game, when you get to the later stages of the Nedbank, people will have a go and play freely. We want to go as far as we can, I don’t think that’s any different to any football club in the world. We don’t want to have a free weekend sitting around,” Hunt told the media yesterday.
