Khoza On Jordaan: I Never Forget…
The Premier Soccer League chairman, Irvin Khoza wants to keep the legacy between himself and Dr Danny Jordaan intact, by quickly sorting out whichever issues are between them.
Dr Khoza called a press conference yesterday, where he addressed the allegations that he’s seen in the media where Jordaan has accused the chairman and Jennifer Ferguson of conspiring against him.
Khoza then confirmed that he has never met or spoken to Ferguson, adding that he is yet to see Jordaan’s complaint of defamation in writing.
“I have nothing personal against Dr Danny Jordaan. Like I said, we have achieved so much together and that legacy must be protected,” Khoza told the media yesterday.
“If there’s full proof of what allegations are and it can be proved, then there’s something else, if they cannot be proved then there’s something else. But, that is not going to stop me from participating in making sure that the legacy that we built remains intact.
“I will never forget that Danny Jordaan was the only official that travelled with us in 1995 when we went to Ivory Coast. The only official in SAFA that travelled with us, with some journalist who is a very famous journalist today that travelled with us in difficult times and that is why we have a star today. So those things I never forget, there’s so much that we have achieved that thing must be dealt with., so it makes him comfortable also because sitting in the executive committee, next to him, he must feel comfortable with me,” he added.
