Darren Keet has pointed out what exactly has cost Bidvest Wits during the current Absa Premiership title run.

The Students are second placed on the league standings, just two points behind Mamelodi Sundowns, who have a game in hand.

However, the Students were leading the league standings for the most part of the campaign, although after winning just three games so far this year, they now need to fight their way back to the top. 

“We conceded some soft goals in our last few games which cost us a lot of points and we should have been way ahead on top of the log now,” Keet told the media. 

“We conceded a couple of goals where we should not have conceded. (Winning) brings back stability and confidence to the defence and also the rest of the team. It’s nice to have that back and yes we want to push on from there and making sure we do what we need to do to win the games and to win the league,” he added.
