This was Pitso's third CAF Champions League trophy. Looking at the match, the focus has shifted to not the score, but rather the 45th+3 minute, a moment in the game that was the deciding factor according to Amakhosi fans. This was the moment where Happy Mashiane committed a foul, resulting in a red card.
“Playing against Al Ahly is difficult, but when you play with 10 men, it almost becomes impossible,” said one Chiefs fan when speaking on the SL Podcast’s Fan Reaction Show.
