MTN8 Quarterfinals: The Fans Have Their Say

With the first round of the 2021/2022 MTN8 done and dusted, it was Golden Arrows, Moroka Swallows, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Cape Town City who progressed from the quarterfinals and find themselves in the semifinals. These fixtures were nothing short of exciting, drama-filled, and entertaining. Two out of the four games had to be decided on penalties. Speaking on the SL Podcast’s ‘Fan Reaction Show’, one fan was saying, “there are no big teams anymore.”

Also making headlines this week is former Orlando Pirates coach Joseph Zinnbauer. The German coach has left Orlando Pirates with the news coming after his side lost 2-1 to Swallows. And now the age-old question remains… Who should replace him as the head coach of Orlando Pirates?
