Bayern recently suffered an embarrassing, yet historic, 5-0 defeat to Gladbach in the DFB-Pokal cup almost a week ago. A newspaper publication released an article stating that a few of the Bavarians' players managed to receive the worst match ratings in history after that fixture.
However, the reigning Bundesliga champions showed their winning mentality and turned the heat on against Union Berlin on Saturday, winning that game 5-2, to show that they still mean business.
Their next fixture isn't going to be a walk in the park, though, as they welcome the only unbeaten team in the league in SC Freiburg. Breisgau-Brasilianer are currently third on the log, having scored a cool 17 goals, with only seven conceded.
