In the latest episode of the SL Podcast’s “My Starter Pack”, SuperSport United left-back Onismor Bhasera joins to discuss his early career, his time at Maritzburg United & Kaizer Chiefs as well as a bittersweet match he played in England for Plymouth Argyle. The veteran Zimbabwe star details his time at academy level and how his relationship with his first professional coach shaped him as a player.
During the podcast, Bhasera also recalls one of his earliest memories watching international football, which was a World Cup qualifying match between Zimbabwe and South Africa in 2000, which descended into chaos resulting in 12 deaths after riots broke out.
