Erik ten Hag has emerged as the club's potential permanent successor to interim boss Ralf Rangnick, as reports suggest the Dutchman is closing in on a deal with the 20-time English champions.
It is said that the deal to bring the 52-year-old to Old Trafford is "almost done".
