With the DStv Premiership transfer window closed for business, many mouth-watering signings have taken place, with Teboho Mokoena snapped up by Mamelodi Sundowns, being the most notable. On the contrary, Kaizer Chiefs’ transfer window was notably unsuccessful. The Glamour Boys failed to sign any players, although they extended the contracts of seven current Amakhosi stars. This lack of business seems to come at a cause, not from Kaizer Chiefs, according to some fans.
“When Chiefs want to sign players, the clubs raise the price tag, putting Chiefs off. This is an issue that seems to only affect the Glamour Boys, whereas other clubs such as Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns don’t seem to get the same treatment; thus posing the question, are Chiefs being disrespected?"
