Lucky Nguzana Has Joined Platinum Stars

Soccer Laduma can confirm that Lucky Nguzana has agreed to join Platinum Stars ahead of the 2014/15 Absa Premiership season, having spent a successful week on trial with the Phokeng-based side.   Sources at the club have indicated that the 23-year-old has already been introduced to his new teammates, and that he has agreed on personal terms with the club, however the finer details of his contract are being ironed out and he is expected to pen a deal this afternoon.   The source sad that the striker impressed coach Allan Freese and his technical team which prompted the club to offer him a deal.   "He has done very well.  He has shown that he is a great striker and you know he is still young and has a lot to offer for the team," said the source.   Asked about the striker, Freese referred all questions to general manager, Senzo Mazingisa, however he was unavailable for comment.
