Bernard Parker will have been a relieved man this weekend… Not only did Kaizer Chiefs win their first game since October, but he finally got on the score sheet in the league after more than a year.
Kaizer Chiefs' Bernard Parker Scored His First League Goal In 412 Days

Bernard Parker
Having scored 27 Absa Premiership goals between 2012 and 2014, Parker had managed just six strikes since the start of 2015, and his equaliser against Polokwane City this past weekend was his first of the 2016/17 campaign.
When the forward headed home this weekend, it had actually been a whopping 412 days since his last league goal for the Glamour Boys, with his previous strike coming against Golden Arrows on 3 November 2015.
His only other goal during that period came in the club's CAF Champions League victory over Volcan Club de Moroni.
Now, after being given a rare 90 minutes by Komphela on Sunday, Parker will be hoping to build on his first goal of 2016 and help the club try to turn their fortunes on the field around.
Chiefs are currently fourth in the Absa Premiership, and will face Golden Arrows on Wednesday evening in their last game of the year.
